Georgia Nurses

I am moving to Georgia in a few very short weeks, I interview this next Wednesday, but I have a few quick questions I figure are better to get out of the way here, rather than on my interviewer.

1) Does Georgia in general offer protection for its nurses like Wisconsin? (In WI we do not have to carry Malpractice Insurance)

2) Has Georgia passed any patient ratio legislation? (Relative to ratios/acuity staffing)

I think that is really it for now :)

Thanks for any responses.

Tait

No, the facilities will tell you that you don't need your own insurance but they lie. And no, we don't have mandated ratios.
