Georgetown CNL 2020

Published

Hey everyone- wanted to start a thread for the CNL program starting in Fall of 2020. I was just accepted today, has anyone else heard back?

I was also accepted and heavily considering going but haven't made final decision yet. Waiting to hear back from UM CNL and trying to decide on cost differences. Anyone else in the same boat?

I haven't heard back yet. When did you send in your application? I'm hoping I haven't heard anything because I applied mid-January and not because they're not interested. I'm still waiting on UM as well, but have been accepted into Simmons and Marquette. I'm very borderline on Georgetown and UM right now (also because of cost), but still holding my breath on those decisions.

I was just accepted today - but they said we need to send in final transcripts by June 1st. I have to take a summer class, and can't make that deadline until July 10th. I emailed them to ask, but still waiting on a response. Anyone else with a similar situation?

I haven’t heard back yet either. Did you guys see your acceptance on the application portal or was decisions mailed out to you?

I received my acceptance letter from Georgetown last Friday. However, I am still waiting to hear back from University of Maryland CNL program. I would like to be in touch with you guys.

Does anyone know if georgetown requires interviews?

They have an video online interview you pre-record and send to them.

Are you applying this cycle?

I was thinking about it! But decided not to apply anymore, since I would not attend even if I got in. Best of luck to you!!

Ohh, if you don’t mind me asking why wouldn’t you attend even if you got in?

I would like to pursue a direct-entry NP Program if possible, and I just got accepted to one! And a CNL program would be very nice as well, but I think Georgetown just isn't at my top 3. So I would much rather give my application seat (not interview seat per se) to someone who really wants to attend Georgetown. It just seems like the most logical thing to do.

How long does it typically take to receive word of acceptance after your interview?
