Georgetown CNL program fall 2016

Hello! I wanted to start this thread for prospective students who are applying to this program! I am thinking of applying because this would be one of my top choices but I'm not sure if I'm competitive enough. If you don't mind sharing, what are some applicant statistics? I would love some information from current or recent graduates of this program as well, what you like about the program, the structure, the rigor, etc! Thank you!

You were able to send in unofficial transcripts?

Resevil yes I was able to send unofficial transcripts only because I'm currently a senior, finishing my undergrad degree, so I have updated grades/classes every quarter. Last quarter's final grades came in a couple weeks ago so they let me email an unofficial transcript because they were going to release decisions soon (and nursing CAS takes at least a month to update grades).

I feel you - I actually had discounted Georgetown because a recommender flaked out on me and they emailed me saying they didn't have any. So I had to scramble to get another one. But that sounds good! I'm crossing my fingers for you! :)

Also, for those of y'all accepted what's your status on financial aid?

Anyone still waiting to hear back? The first person in this forum got in about 2 weeks ago and i didn't think Gtown did rolling apps? I emailed them yesterday and they said my application is still "under review" so do they do rolling admissions?

Yes I am waiting to hear back as well! However, I have not emailed them to ask the status of my application.

According to the last forum, they were accepted until the second week of April.

Yeah i was looking at the other forum from last year as well, and looks like the last person got notified April 13th...which is tomorrow  But I'm sure its different every year. This is what they responded to me when I emailed them yesterday:

"Thank you for your message and continued interest in Georgetown University's CNL program!Your application is currently under review, and the announcement of admissions decisions will be within the month of April.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance."

Im in! Do you guys know when we hear about financial aid?

Congrats!!! :) I'm still waiting on my financial aid package since they couldn't download my FAFSA for the longest. Did you file for it already (like back last month)?

Hi guys! I was also recently accepted! I am excited, but also a bit overwhelmed. Hopefully we receive information about financial aid soon! Have any of you confirmed your enrollment yet? I was thinking of making a facebook page...

I am still waiting to hear back from a few more schools actually! So I am going to wait to confirm my enrollment until I hear back. The tuition/cost is making me so nervous! I filed for FAFSA a couple months ago and sent Gtown the supplemental form as well. How do you access your financial aid package info?
