It seems that large hospitals have 'general application for new grads'. I would be especially interested in working on L and D, but I understand this work is more difficult to find than med-surg or acute care. Should I leave certain things off my resume, such as Doula training and women's health experiences, so I do not get overlooked by these general units? Would they pass me over if they knew I had an interest in eventually moving to L and D in a few years based on my resume experiences?
I understand this might be on a case by case basis, I'm just not sure how to shape a resume that could potentially be seen by any unit at the hospital. Thanks for any advice or tips you can offer!
