That would make sense, though it seems they have taken away so many cohorts at this point there's only two to pick from in AZ.

I saw on the other post your SSA said we should find out in the next couple of weeks with June 15th being the last day that we would. Does that seem pretty reliable and they are moving faster than normal this application cycle?

At this point, I'm in the dark about cohorts and even hospital locations for clinicals. I honestly think they're moving faster because about 200 dropped from applying this semester and changed so they could apply for spring. I'll be checking my email like crazy this week because, apparently, this week is when people will start finding out whether they got in or not.

Does anyone have any idea how many people will be accepted?

I honestly don't know but I do believe that they had to cut spots since they got rid of some cohorts. It's more of a gamble at this point.

I'm applying for Fall 2017 also! I'm so nervous to hear from them, I hope that is before June 15th.

I transferred to GCU last semester and am doing both summer sessions so that I can be tier 1.

My HESI overall was 90.4 and my GPA is a 3.7. I hope I don't have to reapply for Spring!

That's crazy that so many dropped from this application cycle. It makes me curious how many did apply and how many spots are available. I was so disappointed that they took away the Scottsdale location.

Welcome Hopeful, I'm doing the same thing this summer so that I can be tier 1. It seems there's not much hope for anyone in the other two tiers. You have great numbers so hopefully you will get a spot!

The whole tier system is pretty lame, they should get rid of the other two tiers and just tell students they need 24 credits to apply, it seems pointless otherwise. Do you know how likely it is for them to let us know this week about if we got in or not?

I had no idea that it was even a possibility until I saw the other girl in here post about it. I assumed it would be like it has been in the past and it would be after the date they gave us. I really hope they do tell us early though! What classes are you taking this summer?

I am taking university success, pathophysiology, and general psych

I'm taking stats, general psych and Christian worldview. I wonder if we are in class together, I'm in Breanna Glaze's class for this half.

Stats and psych are retakes for classes that I already had A's in just to get into first tier. It's so irritating to have to do this.

My psych class is going to be next session, and it's online. That would have been cool though!

Psych is a retake for me as well so that I could be in first tier, and university success was actually waved for me because of my GPA/credits that I transferred over. So so annoying
