FSW FALL 2018

Hello Everybody. My name is Keesh. I'm starting this thread a little early to get a head start on things. I was looking into starting nursing school in the Spring of 2018, but things come up. Now I'm going to start in the FALL. I'm currently looking into the FSW ANEW program which works better with my work schedule. I was told by a student the ANEW program is just like being in the FULL TIME program except it's online. It consist of hard work, time consuming and dedication. I plan to apply for LEE campus as well.

I know traditional is 20 months but does anyone know how long ANEW is for the fall?

Hey guys so I took the TEAS didn't do as great as I was hoping I got an 80.7 which means I would most likely apply with 70-72pts and I'm not sure where hat leaves me in terms of getting accepted. Good luck to everyone here! Two more weeks!

ANEW is 4 semesters. No longer includes summers.

Thanks Leah hows the situation going? Are you still going to apply? If so what are your stats. I believe we ALL will be classmates.

Hey dear, that is not bad at all. I've read other forums and have seen other people get in with lower than that. Keep the Faith. You got this. WE GOT THIS. What is your first option? Mine is LEE TRADTIONAL 1st, LEE ANEW 2nd

Thanks for asking.

65 points currently. 8 classes. 3.11 (still pissed) and an 82.on the teas. Retaking teas for a hopeful 85+ on May 8th. I'm sure my numbers are good for ANEW. But im still unsure of where I want to go, which program id like to TRY for.

Daughter retaking teas. But she has an 83, 8 classes, 3.75 she isn't sure which campus, leaning towards traditional.

I did get the annual academic excellence in anatomy and physiology award for Charlotte campus! nominated by Dr. Wolfson :) A big deal to me. I'll have an A in a&p 2 this semester in his class.

That isn't bad. I don't know if they have a forum on Facebook already, but where are you'll retaking your TEAS? It would be good if you both can get into traditional. You got this keep the faith. I was thinking about retaking my TEAS exam on May 2nd but uhm I think I'm just going to apply with the 77pts. I'm proud of all of us. Even more proud once we get those emails. :)

Is there anyone out there applying for the Charlotte ANEW program? I'm hoping there will be enough people this semester.

Are you ok with lee ANEW? my approach, regarding anew is if i apply at charlotte i better be willing to attend lee. A fellow pre-nursing student talked to Wendy on Friday. She said they were considering dropping the point threshold a little to fill ANEW Charlotte. I'm not confident it will fill. Embracing Lee ANEW, myself. I figure, it's not brand new, as Charlotte would be, the clinical site would be better than Charlotte, and the sim lab at lee is superior.

Hi. Could you tell me, in which semester(s) there are 2 clinical days? Thank you :)

Per Wendy at Charlotte, considering the mis/lack of communication of HUM2020 being the only humanities class counting towards graduation, nursing dept is considering counting the highest humanities grade an applicant has towards GPA calculation for points. The points sheet reflects her statement, now.

I love our school. I want to be a nurse. I want to go to nursing school at our school. But there is a definite disconnect in communicating changes to pre nursing students. And it's not 1 thing, or 2, or 3... smh.

Hey everyone,

I just found this thread. I am planning on applying for the fall 2018 at FSW. I am taking my TEAS on the 11th- late I know. Does anyone have input on the best campus to go to? I am from Tampa and I have no idea if Charlotte is a nice town? Is there a downtown/young people there? I really have no idea. I have a better idea of what fort myers and naples are.
