FSW Fall 2015

Florida Southwestern State College formerly Edison State College. I started thread for FSW but it is full with spring applicants. So I decided to start a new one for this upcoming fall.

Who is joining me next fall in nursing?

I plan to apply for Part-time or Lee full time. I have one more semester of pre-requisites. I am taking A&P 1, Micro, College Algebra and Nutrition. Kill me now. :arghh: lol A full time semester of craziness but almost done after that hopefully with pre-requisites with the exemption of A&P 2 and a humanities class.

I plan to take the Hesi in mid Feb or march and retake if needed at the end of April. Schedule has been posted and I plan to study a lot this winter break. So excited but so nervous.

Yes. Lets meet by the entrance of library.

Hello, I wanted to start a thread to see how many people are applying to the fall 2015 nursing program at Florida SouthWestern State College. I am interested in comparing HESI scores, prerequisites completed, and GPA. It would be nice to see what we're all up against. I'll be applying to the night PT program as my first choice and the day FT as my second choice. I'm scheduled to take my HESI on April 9th, so I don't have that score yet. However, I have all 9 prerequisites completed with all A's with the exception. Of a B in A&P 1. I'm pretty excited to see who potentially may be my future classmates and I look forward to any responses!!

Hi. Im also applying for the fall PT as first choice and FT as second. Im taking Hesi on March 26. Nervous. Lol

I will have pretty much all classes done by this semester except A&P II which I plan to take this summer. I hope this doesnt affect my chances of getting in. I have almost all As except for English Comp and maybe College Algebra. We will see.

I cant wait for semester to be over and apply. I hope we both get in.

I had tried to sign up for the 26th but all the seats were taken! Fingers CROSSED for both of us!! I'm also so nervous for the HESI. I've been studying the elsevier study guide and khan academy videos. Please let me know how your test goes and good luck!!

I need to watch some khan academy. I have the study guide. I have been going through that as well.

I'm not going to this school or anywhere near the state but I know a good place for study methods. Keshwani Prep on YouTube goes though things on the HESI. I know he does the TEAS stuff but just check him out.
