I'm starting the DNP program at Florida State University Tallahassee Campus in August, and was wondering what to expect or if anyone else is starting in the Fall.

I can't really comment on the DNP program since I am a BSN student there but I can comment on the department itself....The instructors for the most part are excellent! You'll realize very early who is the best. If you are in the DNP program then you will definitely have atleast 2 good ones I think....I'm not sure if we are supposed to say names on here, but one is the only man in the deapartment, and he is a really great teacher. The other one is a pathophysiology instructor in the BSN program who I believe does stuff for DNP and she is amazing too. Goodluck!
Thanks soo much for the info!! I'm looking forward to the start of the program, just a little nervous!! I know FSU has a great program so I'm not too worried! If you hear anything let me know! Good luck in the BSN program!

I would love to talk to you about the DNP program there. I don't know if you get on here often or not, but I am looking into the DNP program at FSU and was wanting to find out more information from someone actually going through the program.. I've got lots of questions but first I was wondering if you were actually doing in residence at FSU or elsewhere in FL? (I would not be taking courses at FSU campus....)
