Just an FYI, this has been spoken about numerous times. Often you can find what you are looking for by using the search feature. Also, the Nursing Office (and most campus student centers) have a handout that explains it in detail.
If you have medical experience, they give you 4 pts/yr up to 20 pts
Take the pre-reqs (excluding Chem) and multiply your grade by the number of credits and add the points. That is your points for GPA.
Take the NAT. There are 3 sections you focus on...can't remember which ones so you will have to do one of the above suggestions or wait for someone else to chime in. Anyway, you take those points, add together and multiply by (I think) .64 (64%) and that is your NAT total.
Add all pts and that is what you have towards your application.
Thank you. I did get in touch with the school today and they emailed me a packet. Thanks again!

Oooh, I didn't see that they give you extra points for med. experience. Do you know how they verify? I have my certificate for graduating a CNA program in 1999, but worked for less than a year, maybe 6 months. I wonder if that would be eligible for some extra points....?????
You would have to ask. What I saw was 5 points per YEAR. Maybe you can talk them into 1/2 of that or an extra 2.5 points???? Who knows. Never hurts to ask!
