I am so excited. I have an interview with Frontier this week for their CNM program. Can anyone give me any advice, ideas of what to expect, etc? I am nervous just thinking about it!

No advice here--still working on undergrad--but just looked at Frontier and it looks cool! GL! Keep us posted!

Congratulations!! What fantastic news. Just take deep breath before you speak, convey your passion for midiwfery, and keep telling yourself you are worthy of being a part of that program! Good luck this weekend.

How did it go??? I have one scheduled in 2 weeks - I'm so nervous too! When are you hoping to start? Maybe we'll be at Frontier Bound at the same time!

Good luck with your interview. Frontier is an amazing place and FB is great -- like summer camp for mostly middle aged nurses, so I'm in school heaven. My class is the largest they've ever had here. Lots of people are applying here these days. There was a thread elsewhere about what the interview covered -- why do you want to be a midwife, your strengths and weaknesses as a nurse, how computer literate you are, how you plan to complete the program, i.e. how will structure your work and study time, how many hours do you plan to work, &c.

Sounds Great!!! I am wanting to attend Froniter myself after just finishing my B.S.N. at age 43. I would love to hear anything you have to say about your experience there. What type of experience did you get before applying? I went to nursing school with the sole purpose to go on to become a midwife. I find myself not crazy about the idea of working in the hsopital. Did you experience anything like this? Interested in any thing you have to say!
