I wanted to apply for midwifery so bad, however my hospital is the only hospital which hires midwives in my area. As a result. I have applied for the family nursing program at Frontier with an intention of doing midwifery thereafter. I intend to be a family nurse midwife.

I actually just made the decision to apply the program so I'm at the beginning of the application process. I am almost done with my essays but I just sent my references the reference form. So hopefully they don't take too long to get it back to me. I'm very anxious to finish my packet and get it sent off!

Haha thank you! I live in Florida. Just saw that we have the same goal, I plan to do the midwifery program then the FNP program. Hopeful we'll be classmates soon

Hey Leslie, one of the CNM told me to do midwifery first, however she did not give me the reason. Is there a benefit from doing the opposite ?
