Friends as Reference

Hello everyone,

Im a foreign grad seeking a job in Hospice facility or in a Hospital.

in writing my resume:

is it ok if I place my nurse friends (with phone number) from Chicago as my reference or should it be my Clinical Instructors (with Email address only) from the Philippines ?

    Who has knowledge of your nurse work experience/clinical competency? They will be asked how they know you and it might be concerning if you only have personal references and no professional references.

    Also---References are NOT included on resumes but in job applications/ reference requests upon contingent job offer or as part of a background check

    See what the employer asks for some want fax and phone. Have you worked in any capacity even at Mc Donald's? Are you physically in the US? It's not just healthcare references but any other job references show your attendance , reliability, work ethic etc so even a mc Donald's reference is valid
