Fresno State Fall 2021

Hey everyone, I wanted to start this forum so we can share our stats and/or any questions any of us may have. These are my stats so far!

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 82%

Featured Replies

Hey! My prerequisite GPA is 3.75 and my TEAS is 88.7%!

Prerequisite GPA is 3.6 and TEAS 91.3

Do they only look at prerequisite GPA? My prerequisite GPA is 3.71 and my TEAS was 84, but I’m a post baccalaureate student and my cumulative GPA is terrible, only a 3.45, does that ruin my chances?

Edit: calculator was wrong my GPA is only a 3.41 ? for prerequisites and I’ve never failed a class so I cannot retake anything.

I believe they only look the prerequisite GPA so I don't think your cumulative GPA will hurt your chances!

My prerequisite GPA is only 3.41 (actually lower than my cumulative GPA now) due to a C in Communications, B in Chem, B in A&P 2 and B in my critical thinking. I looked into everything, no way to retake classes, getting classes expunged, nothing. I feel punished for being a second baccalaureate student. No one can predict their future and I didn’t think I’d go back to school and endured just passing through my first degree because I was sick with a now diagnosed illness.

I think you’ll be OK. My friend got in with an 85 TEAS and 3.5 cumulative

Really? Which application period? this is soo reassuring everyone else on facebook groups and even counselors say I have no chance. I was told I may have a chance in the July application period due to it being post baccalaureate and existing students only. Would be cool to go to my Alma Mater, I attended FSU for 6 years and I really enjoy the area especially since Campus Pointe opened.

Fresno city is nice (I went there for prerequisites I needed to apply) but the area is sketchy and it’s not as close to other relevant things I may have going on like work, the mall, restaurants, etc. All my doctors were in west Fresno and I’ve also always worked in North/West Fresno too.

Well here’s to hoping, applying to both Fresno State and Fresno City. Still waiting on them to accept my readmittence to Fresno State since it’s been 2 years since I was a student there.

I graduated from Fresno State in 2013 with my degree in music. I don't think I'll apply to Fresno State afterall. Tuition is way too high for post-bacc students.

Are you applying to Merced?

Not applying outside of where I can live at home, basically only Fresno State and Fresno City, possibly may look into places in Tennessee because my mom and stepdad live there.
