I will be taking my boards for the second time in about month. Ive been doing questions where im getting 55-65% of it right. so what am I doing wrong. I heard you need to get at least 65% right. and I dont want to go in and fail. AGAIN. Any useful tips?

1st off take a deep breath! Don't go in thinking your gonna fail. STAY POSITIVE!! Take your time reading the questions. There are lot of helpful tips in the NCLEX Forum found on AN. I would suggest keep on doing the practice tests. I passed the 2nd time taking the NCLEX. Know your lab values...be able to identify whats not normal. Keep us posted. All the best to you.
Thanks! Im going to keep doing questions. But i have three books that i feel like i do the questuons ovet and over hat im rrmembeting the answers.matenity is what is getting me

Many people over think their answers. Try to remember to answer things as you were taught not as they are done in the real world. Take a big deep breath and try to psych yourself up by telling yourself you'll do well.

I agree with what someone above said about over-thinking things. One of my friends took her boards and passed and she said the best piece of advice she got is to think that for the boards you work in a perfect place where you have all the supplies and all the time you need. So don't think about the if's, like hmm well if I had this..no in the scenario you have everything you need. I hope this makes sense, good luck!
