Hello,
I just took the NCLEX-PN today at 11am. I walked in feeling confident and with the mindset of knowing I studied very hard and prayed before I walked into the building and in the lobby. I sat down to 80% of questions being SATA! One math question (which I studied for extensively), and maybe about 25-30 multiple choice. After question 60 I started to tear up. A lot of the content was new to me! I had studied using Saunder's and some Kaplan. I also used the online review on the Evolve site. My computer gave me the dreaded blue screen:down: after question 83. I'm freaking out believing I failed! I walked out of that room crying hysterically, grabbed my purse from the locker and then dropped to the floor outside the room and cried some more. This exam has had me so stressed out because I'm also taking prerequisites at my college and had FAILED my chemistry midterm because I was so focused on this exam. I don't know what to do, I'm just so depressed right now.

Are you sure it was 83 questions? The minimum for NCLEX PN is 85, NCLEX RN is minimum 75. If your screen locked out after only 83 questions for the PN exam, it may have been due to a computer glitch. (i.e. if it was truly blued out after 83 questions, you cannot fail as you did not complete the minimum number of questions, unfortunately if it was 83 and you took the PN you will have to test again but at no cost to you if you did nothing wrong--like get mad and unplug your computer like some people feel like doing)
Take a breath, relax there is nothing more you can do right now.
futurelpn2012: I tried it so many times yesterday and today and I still have the neutral pop-up that says my results are on hold.
justbeachynurse: maybe it was 85. I'm not too too sure I just remember seeing 8 something, then turned blue, then I cried. So maybe it went to 85. I'm really anxious right now.
I PASSED!!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) OFFICIALLY AN LPN!!!!

:) congrats !!!!
Congratulations.:) So you had at least 85 questions, I will say when I walked out of the NCLEX I had no idea whatsoever if I passed or failed. It was definitely a unique experience.
Thank you!!!! I'm still in shock!!! Now I can apply to the LPN-RN bridge program!

Ohhh my !! Congratulationssss im so happy for you, can you please share how you studied??? I have mine in a montj
Dragon_lady: I'm in Florida and the test was nerve-wracking. I felt at a loss with all those SATAs. There were also some drugs I had no recollection of. It's like you expect the computer to shut off but when it does it still surprises you. Futurelpn2012: I used Saunder's (The red book) which if you go to the Evolve website you can practice online. I used it consistently. I also studied my drug cards from my PN program.
