After I got my acceptance letter to start nursing school in January (still on cloud 9!!) I had to make the oh so vital decision on how to announce my good news on the place where everyone goes to "update" all their friends on their recent accomplishments, facebook.
...*actually now that we are on the topic of facebook, I wonder if it they could add a feature for nursing students such as "So and so is married with 4 children, a full time job and currently attending nursing school, don't fret if they haven't logged on in awhile to like that picture of your new puppy or those pictures of your cousin's wife's sister's daughter's 12th birthday party, they are probably busy with life outside of social media. Leave a supporting comment on their wall to remind them that their friends still exist and miss them tremendously but are completely understanding of the fact that they are very very busy with...well life".....actually they should add that for pre-nursing student as well.*
Anyways...I decided to go ahead and make a status about my amazing news and excitement. As the likes and congrats started to roll in, it really started to make this all seem real. I am really going to start nursing school next year....little ole' me....wow. Of course, anxiety soon followed. I have been looking at all the youtube videos I can find to learn more about what to expect, and then it happened. I encountered this gem of a video. Although I have only had very little experience with the "SimMan" in CNA training, this video made me laugh and helped to shake away some of my anxiety. So I wanted to share it with my fellow AN community!
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!

Thanks for that. Sim labs really help to develop skills, especially those we may not see in clinical rotations
