Forsyth Tech 2018 Practical Nursing Program

Hey everyone I'm starting this post to see who is applying to the fall 2018 LPN program at forsyth. If you are what option are you choosing (day or weekend)? and what is your total amount of points.

Not accredited who told you that?

Its on their website, you can see all their accreditations. They are TRYING to get accredited but that doesn't mean they will

Plus grants like pell grant are sometimes picky about non-accrediated programs.

Wow... I didn't see that I saw they're accredited but I'll look again interesting that they're so competitive and not accredited. Thanks

I found it yes they're in pre- accreditation status claiming everything gets approved Geezz!

They're accredited for other programs, but yeah look on their website. They have a list of their accreditations and like I said, nursing is listed as one they're trying to get. But according to their website its still in process of getting it which doesn't mean they will unfortunately. I also know that could effect me in the future when i try to bridge for RN if another school won't accept the credits from an unaccredited college. Im curious if they do end up getting accredited, if while someone attended while they weren't if it would count for their education as if they were í ¾í´”

You're welcome and good luck!

Same here bridging over as well ugh just want to get done thanks and good luck to you :)

@victoria18 You don't have to know the address. Castle Uniforms will automatically ship the lab kit to Forsyth Tech no matter what shipping address you put in as long as you order the Forsyth Tech PN lab kit.

They're accredited under the nc board but not the acen and ccne, the acen accredits adn and lpn and the ccne accredits higher education like bsn. I was worried too, I'm starting the adn program, but I've been doing a lot of research, in nc all the community programs are legit because they're accredited under the nc nursing board. As long as you get your bsn from a ccne accredited college you'll be fine. And as long as you get a job in nc you'll be fine, some other states could be weird if your adn or lpn program is only state accredited and not nationally, but they might be fine with it.

Thanks for the information I was a little concerned ☺

For those on facebook there is a group started for the class of 2019. Called Lpn class of 2019 @ Forsyth community college
