Forsyth ADN Fall 2014

Hey guys! I just thought I'd make a thread relevant to those individuals applying for the Fall 2014 Nursing program at Forsyth Technical Community College.

I'm definitely a bit apprehensive about getting in, and thought this may be a good way to communicate to my fellow (or previous) applicants.

My current points (subject to change since I am retaking the TEAS exam 2-19) are 159. From my understanding of the points and the statistical data provided over the last 4 years, that's towards the low end of when they begin accepting individuals for the program!

What are your points? Have you guys applied before? Are you nervous? (I know I am!)

    Eeek...I had like 158. One of my classes expired and I lost those points. Im applying lpn to rn. I haven't received anything and I live in ws :(

    I had 165, I was missing only one class and had a pretty low TEAS score. I have a 4.0 GPA though, which may have really been the life-saver in my case.

    Does anyone know if they email you back confirming they've received your acceptance confirmation?

    Yeah I was missing that computer class that expired. I have 3.8 gpa...honor student in lpn but she said they dont look at my lpn grades...I was like wonderful. .why bother going above and beyond then?!

    Mbduplisea: I'm thinking they mail each programs letters out in waves. Pn, rn, then bridge. Your points won't be measured against the ADN program but they're pretty good compared to previous bridge rankings. I think you're fine...just gotta wait on the bridge wave :/

    They do email you back after you've accepted your seat. I got my response this morning.

    I'm declining my seat at forsyth tech Monday! Going to DCCC instead... so you're 1 spot closer but at alternate #9 you should have no problem getting in!
