I read somewhere that Florida is unrestricted when it comes to practicing. ? Does that mean an adult ARNP can still care for pedi patients?
Can anyone elaborate ?

Nurse practitioners in the state of Florida must have a collaborative agreement with a physician. I am an adult nurse practitioner and cannot treat under the age of 13 only adolescents and up.

If you want to see pediatric population, you must do family or a PNP program. I think here in Florida we are still restricted but not so much. We will have to continue to prove ourselves as excellent providers on a daily basis.
