Flex Time? How is that working for you?

My hospital is starting to switch all RN's to flex time. You can be full or part time flex. I guess I'm confused about the difference between flex time 3 12's and a regular full time 3 12's.

Some are getting their panties in a bunch over working that "free day" every x amount of pay periods. How does that work exactly? It's a 4th shift that your working that you've already been paid for? That's my understanding.

How has flex time benefitted you?

Or do you absolutely hate it?:greyalien:
