Do you think it would be a better idea for me to buy a box of micro flashcards or make my own as I read through the chapters?

I haven't seen any decent flash cards for micro. I intend to make my own and get the micro coloring book and photographic atlas. I'll also probably get the study guide that goes with my book.

I prefer to write my own-the more I personally write things down the more I remember. Our professor already posted his Micro syllabus and on there it has our textbook website which already have online flash cards. I will probably review those too in addition to mine.
just depends on what's worked for you in the past.

Definitely make your own. When you write something down you have to think about it the whole time you're writing so it helps with retention.
Also, instead of flashcards I made up "fictional" exam questions on a Q&A sheet (questions all on front, answers on back). That was the best study tool I've ever used and I had fellow students flocking to study with me.
