Hi everyone. I know I can't ask medical advice, but I have a "what would you do" question.
I am a nurse with less than a year of experience, but all my nursing judgment has just gone out the window cause I am concerned about my husband.
He vomitted, now in fetal position due to bilateral flank pain and suprapubic pain. Took 800mg ibuprofen and is now waiting for it to take affect.
My question is....Would you go to ER or wait for urgent care to open tomorrow?
I don't want to go to ER unless I think it is a true emergency. Thanks, beachgirl17

Curled up in a ball with pain constitutes an emergency for me.
Well unless it is during my period, then it is just plain normal.
Take him in.

Hi, Allison
There is no way we can advise whether it's time to go to the ED.
Please speak with him and then you two decide what's in his best interest. And, don't be anxious about trying to determine if it's a "true" emergency or not.
We hope that this resolves quickly.
