Hey redneck! No ahswer from me for your question, but wanted to say hi, and welcome to the recovery forum here. Glad you're here - I am an RN and a recovering addict. I have been in recovery since 1999 - I am always glad to meet new posters also in recovery.

hey redneck girl- welcome to the forum! & to recovery! i have seen posted on here of a way to find out what each test is for. however, IMO & as others have said- the easiet & best way to not have to worry about it is to abstain from just about everything. i take occasional tylenol, motrin & that's it. no cold medicines, no sleep aids, no exedrin, no foods with alcohol, etc.- then i don't have to worry about it. you should have received a list of meds that are safe to take & those to avoid- just avoid them!! best of luck- you will find lots of help here!!

The drugs tested can vary lab to lab, and health professional monitoring programs can also have their own unique panel makeup. Here is a common list with a couple options.

Alcohol

Benzodiazepines

Opiates

THC

Barbiturates

Amphetamines

Cocaine

Quaalude

PCP

Propoxyphene

Oxycodone

Others possible:

MDMA (extacy)

methadone
