First day on the floor this week!

Hey guys,

So this one is for new grads who have recently started working....My first day on the floor is Wednesday and Iw as wondering what supplies you brought with you on YOUR first day...My manager already told me I'll just be orienting and figuring out where things are the first couple days, not too much Nursing stuff. SO, I'm not quite sure what to come prepared with. I'm always one to go overprepared to things but, is there anything you found really helpful on your first couple days? Any words of wisdom? I'm so excited yet ready to throw up all at one time! After 7 days of hospital orientation, I'm definitely ready to do SOMETHING on the floor though :-)

    Well, I guess I know what I need to bring to work normally....I'm just wondering if there was something extra for the first couple days that really helped people.

    I always carried a little notebook with me -- handy for jotting down notes, phone numbers, names, etc.
