Congratulations! The test is not as hard as you might think. Take the practice exam and it is very similar. Are you sure you don't have to take the skills test? You must have proof from the state that you passed the 5 skills they gave you and the skills are picked at random. It must also be at an official testing site and at an official testing time deemed by the state. I'm just saying, you want to make certain you have qualified. This is done by calling the state board of nursing and asking if you have been recorded as having passed the skills portion of the test. You must also have paid the skills fee to the state.

It's so nice to be done with training. It's like a weight off your shoulders, isn't it? Now its study time and that can be a headache in it self but I agree with Josh it isn't that hard but you definitely have to put your study time in. Some of the question get technical.

I've never heard about being checked off for the skills exam - will you tell us more about that? I would hate for there to be a mix up and you end up having to do the skills!

I checked very closely on this what it is she went to school and got certified to do the skills portion because not very many places can do them. She teaches the skills and then checks us off on them going by the state guidelines the only difference is we have to get checked of on all 21 skills.:) thanks for being concerned

btw i am in Illinois.
