fingerprinting??

I paid 75.00 for my electronic F]bi and bci? fingerprints to be sent to the Ohio bon to get a lic by endorsement---on saturday I get a packet in the mail from the board with the manual ink type of fingerprint cards...the cost for those is soemthing like 34 for fbi and 28 for bci.

]

]I have called 3x to the board with no return call. Why do i have to do both---has any one else had to do this. Does any one know about this? If the digital electronic ones sent---I know they did, because the new hosp I am going to work for said they got thier copies, then why do I have to do the manual ink ones??

just a thought try emailing instead of calling?

also, try asking HR at your new hospital if this is standard in OHIO

I did ask HR and they said the electronic ones should ]be fine, in fact they thought that was the ONLY way the ohio bon accepted fingerprints now...I will look online for an email address.

I also did not think that ink prints were accepted anymore and it really doesn't make sense why you would need both. I would keep trying to contact them...good luck!

I got ahold of the board--they said all out of state applicants automatically get sent the ink cards---as there is a clause if you are out of state you DO NOT have to get the electronic ones done....Didnt know that. So I am good. Thanks
