Fingerprint Card

Like most people, I am also confused with the fingerprint issue of Illinois. I am a registered nurse from the Philippines. Please enlighten my mind on how to apply for eligibility. My CES is currently being processed so to save time, I am already inquiring on how to go about the next step when my CES would be approved.

What should I do? I am hoping to do the right steps because I can't afford to commit mistakes. Please??

Dear Leslie,

Make sure you have the correct form then you can go to NBI office for additional help- for a fee of course. However, if you have friends who work as chief security that does finger printing, they know what to do- even better because you dont have to pay them. They just need to roll your fingers in a particular way like NBI CLEARANCE style. That would be sufficient

Good luck

thank you so much! good thing i'm done with my CES. my problem now is the fingerprint card. I haven't received any yet and it's been three weeks. I don't know what's happening.

Patience is a virtue. My fingerprint card did not get to me until 2 months.

I remember that it took me 2.5 years of waiting before I was able to leave for Illinois despite the fact I passed CGFNS, TOEFL, TSE and NCLEX. We were the first batch starting 2001 that got granted US green cards right away when we got here in the States.

Best of luck to you
