Hi,
I attend an online nurse educator program, and I need to find a preceptor for clinical experience next semester. Unfortunately, my program is in one state, and I have moved away from the state where I completed my bachelor's degree, so I have no contacts with any nearby nurse educators. Does anyone have an idea on where I should start looking for a preceptor. I have thought about sending out my resume and a cover letter explaining what I need to some nursing programs. Any help anyone could give me would be appreciated!

I made a bunch of cold contacts via email and found a site. Many people do it at their work site, in professional ed. I did mine at a community college, the director liked my idea for a Capstone. What about at your job?
I can't precept at work because most of the stuff there is staff development, so the classes and materials are already done and preplanned. I can try e-mailing though, at least the responses would be quicker!
