Financial aid

Can you go to your FA office at your school and check? thats the only source that will tell you when and how much funds you will recieve. What is your FA status? like do you have to do an appeal, are you getting a loan, schoalrship? If it is a pell grant your classes won't be paid for until you attend at least the first week or so.

You should have received something by now. Are you applying for Federal aid, State aid, or both? I know at my school the Federal financial aid packages were awarded in the beginning of May. The State aid typically takes a bit longer and you should be notified of State awards around this time, or perhaps a bit later.

Did you file your FAFSA prior to the 3/1/11 deadline? If you didn't then you will not be getting priority funding.

As the previous poster suggested...contact your financial aid office.

Oh, I filed back in Feb. I will most likely have to do an appeal, just waiting on word from the FA office. I am going out of town today, so will go in person when I get back!
