FINAL HELP

I am a block 1 nursing student fighting to pass the block. I go to MCC in the CEP program. I feel so dumb because I can't seem to do well on the exams and I put in many hours a week of studying. I have one more final exam and I have to get a decent grade. Does anyone have any suggestions for me so I can pass this block?

Welcome to AN! It may be too late, but you should evaluate your study habits. Although you are studying for many hours each week, you may not be studying effectively. Have you taken any of the learning styles quizzes available to help determine what methods help you learn best? My personal favorite is VARK, although there are many other options out there. Quantity of studying does not necessarily equal quality of studying.

Rose_Queen, and you are probably right. I am a Kinestetic learner. I do flashcards and I do NCLEX questions everyday. I don't know why but I can't seem to get down the "What does the nurse do next" I have no problem with knowledge questions but the application questions are the ones that are killing me.

Then role play or watch you tube videos with care scenarios. Act out what the nurse does next if need be with some toys while verbalizing what you need to do
