Fiberticulitis?????? Anyone?????

My 79 yr old friend has been diagnosed with leukemia and something else called something like "fibertickulitis". I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong because I can't find any info on it on the web, but that's exactly how she said the doc pronounced it. Anyone know what she's trying to say or know the correct spelling so I can find out something about it? Thanks for any info-
