Hi Nicci
Glad to meet you. I'm Lauren.....I just got married in August. I'm going into the second semester of the BSN nursing program at RIC. The RI forum here on AN.com is very quiet, but usually Chris (cjcsoon2brn) or myself pop in pretty frequently.
How are you liking St. Joes? I heard it's a great program.

Welcome Nicci!
I'm Chris, like my buddy Lauren said we are both second semester BSN students at RIC. Overall, the RI forum is usually pretty dead but we do get some activity around the beginning of each semester (to announce who did or didn't make it into their programs.) Allnurses.com is a great site though because it has a lot of interesting discussions, amazing resources and some really cool people so your in good company. I'm also interested in hearing more about the St. Joe's program (because diploma programs are a dying breed of nursing education.) If you have any questions about allnurses.com or anything RI nursing related feel free to ask Lauren or me. Nice to meet you!
!Chris
Hi Lauren and Chris!!
Thanks for your replies! St. Joe's is wonderful!! It's nice and small! My graduating class has only 29 future nurses! We all try to help each other out! We get TONS of hands on, right from the start which I love!! I'm very excited for next semester!
Have you guys started clinicals yet? I know URI doesn't until 3 year if I remember correctly, how does it work for you? What classes are you going to be taking next semester?
Talk to you soon
PS Congrats on your new marriage Lauren!!
