Where do i start. I just graduated High school this year. Some say i should start LVN and then bridge to RN. And Some say i should go straight to RN at a Community College. Right now its too late for me to start a fall semester at all of the CC around so i would have to wait until Spring. there is a private school for LVN which starts in October and i could do that. But i want some advice on which road i should take. I live in Southern California so most of the schools are packed. I heard that nowadays hospitals don't usually hire LVN.

Hi,
Can you do a mini fall semester? Usually you start in like October till December. If I were you I would go for the RN at the communtiy college. As far as schooling, if you have the mini semesters, I would take at least two classes like psychology or english. Maybe online class at the CC?
ill check it out...thanks

I also live in SOCAL and its major tough to get into nursing school so if you going to get your lvn...do it then bridge to RN quick because no one around us hires lvn's anymore...
