Fall 2018 MDC

Hi my name is Lina. Before may 1 I'll be applying to the general full time and part time options. I'm currently taking the last of my pre reqs. I'll be taking the HESI sometime in March. I'm curious to see if I've had any classes with any of you. Good luck to everyone.

Hey Lina, I too will be applying for the fall generic program. I'm currently preparing myself to take the hesi either by the end of february or sometime in march. I was wondering if you had any tips that you would recommend for preparing for the anatomy portion of the exam. I am currently using the pocketprep and have an overall 88%. I want to know what're the best ways to prepare for this exam. I feel as if though my 88% needs to be a perfect 100% before taking this exam. Thanks!

Hello Lina! I too am applying for this fall! I've scheduled my HESI for February 28 and I'm beyond stressed out! I currently have a 3.5 science GPA My grades are

A&P 1-C (Long story =/) Lab-A

A&P 2-A Lab-A

Chem-A Lab-A

Currently taking my last pre reqs (Mac1105, HSC0003L, and Microbiology). If I end with an A in micro then I would finish with a 3.6 science GPA. I have to get above 75 on the HESI to have above an 80 Competitive score. I plan on applying for the full time generic and part time. Hopefully I get in one of them. =)

Hey Lina !!!!

I'm Bran I'm applying to the fall 2018 generic, part time, and accelerate program. I'm currently taking MCB 2010 lecture and lab plus HSC003 lecture and lab.

Already scheduled my Hesi test for March 9th 930am a little nervous about this test but fingers are crossed and good energy is being put into the universes lol

I'm using pocket prep too but my average is 77% yikes ! On a brighter note my current science gpa is 3.75 if I get an A in Microbiology I would be at 3.8!!!

Good luck all I know its tough but we gotta be resilient!!!

Hey Bran! I wish you the best of luck!! Also, I was wondering if after the test you could let us know what the exam will cover and what it will be like, as well as any suggestions on studying. Thank you!

Thank you! Yes, for sure I can!

I appreciate it! I currently have a 3.3 science GPA and I need to aim for the highest possible score in order to have a chance at getting into the program.

Hey Sorry I'm Late took the HESi Friday I got an 80! I'm still in debate about taking it over mid-April.

Any thoughts?

I also submitted my apps for Generic Full and Part time. Found out I qualify for accelerated too.

Yeahh I am also applying to accelerated since I have a bachelors in Psychology. How was the exam?? what would you say are the most difficult topics?

Omg I was shocked how difficult the A&P section was. Chemistry has always been my weakness I struggled to get a B in my lecture course which was not shock when I got to that section. Bio, Math, Vocab, and Reading were my highest scores.

Super random but do you mind if I whatsapped you regarding the exam?

Hello everyone! I'm sorry I took so long to respond. Nice to me you guys!

I have my Hesi scheduled for March 28th and I'm freaking out lol

Chemistry and bio aren't my strong subjects.

I can't use pocket prep on my phone because it keeps crashing but I am using another hesi app, the book and a bunch of other hesi practice questions online.

I hope to see you guys all at school come fall!

Hey Bran! I'm also taking intro to HC and microbiology this semester as well as a&p too.

Also I calculated your overall score and if you get an A in microbiology it would put you at a very competitive 86% if you kept your 3.75 GPA it would be 85% which is still great.
