Hello everyone,
So I took the TEAS last Saturday and today I found out what my score was. Sadly I got an 67% (the minimum for the program to which I'm applying for is 70%). I don't know if I should even bother submitting my documents considering that I didn't even meet the teas score minimum. Although I may have a 3.7 gpa, two letter of recommendations and other documents required and ready to be submitted, it's almost a guarantee that I wouldn't get in. (By the way, it's CSUSB's program I'm trying to apply for-just to clear the confusion). I would retake the TEAS but it will be too late for the deadline. Has anyone have had this issue? I could definitely apply for another quarter but this really disappointed me so much.

If you didn't meet the minimum requirements then there is no use in applying. Study what you did poorly on and try taking the TEAS again. Then apply to your school for nursing next semester.

Don't sweat it! You can try again. Continue to study the material. Now that you know what to expect, you can focus on the areas you didn't score too well in. It's not something to rush into. I know we want to get in and finish asap. Maybe it's not quite the time for you. You will get in as soon you can. Re take the TEAS. Use this time to do something fir yourself (I.e. get healthy, change your diet, exercise, volunteer, take up a hobby) because once you start nursing school, goodbye social life. Look at other programs also. You will be okay! Good luck !
