Consider Suzanne's Plan, she uses Saunders for it. Also look at the Random Facts Thread, lots of great advise there and support.

How did you study for it the first time around and how long did you give yourself?
Re: NCSBN -- our class was required to purchase it and I honestly thought it was a waste of money.
i studied this book in this review class that i went. i believe its called mosbys review for nclex its a purple not sooo thick book.. ..
which one would you reccomend? ncsbn or kaplan?

I take my boards on the 22nd of this month but the NCSBN course focuses on providing material for you to study and provides practice questions.
Kaplan focuses on teaching you how to answer the questions rather than making you re-learn material you already know.
My strategy that I am using is I purchased the Kaplan book and then purchased the QBank questions online. I am doing all of the QBank questions and also using the Kaplan book to help me focus in on my test-taking skills. I won't know if my strategy works for another week and a half. Hopefully it does.
