Failed NCLEX yesterday

do your paperwork (if needed) + pay additional fees now. don't wait for 45 days.

You can send in your paper work but you will not receive ATT until after you are eligible to test again. Good Luck and stay positive!

If I am not mistaken, you have to wait til the 45 days is up before you are able to reschedule w/ Pearson. Here in Fla, you can re-register w/ the BON at any time but you cant reschedule your exam til after the 45 days are up. I am also using Suzannes plan and still have not rescheduled cause the BON increased their fees and I had to send in an extra 15 before they would process my appl. My 45 days are up so as soon as I am determined eligible, I will rechedule.

I know you feel like you have failed, you are not a failure til you GIVE UP. This is not your case, just reading your thread, you are already in the right mind frame. I was devastated when I found out I failed my 1st try. Take some time and get yourself together,then start back studying. We are gonna make it this time. Just believe in yourself.

I am totally bummed that I found out that I failed the NCLEX yesterday after 75 questions. But I am determined to pass, and am going to be starting Suzanne's plan tomorrow. My question is, I have 45 days before I can take the test again. That would make the next available day I can take it is Nov. 19th. I would really like to take the exam that week. So do I have to fill out my paperwork and send it in now, so I can get an appointment date for the week that I want. Or, do I have to wait until the 45 days is over, and then send in my paperwork/sign up for an exam date?

Hey, I just want you to know, that I know exactly how you feel! I just found out this morning that I did not pass the nclex (186 questions). Hearing your determination, gives me hope, because I am so down in the dumps right now. Thank you for your positive attitude, it definitely lifted my spirits. I think I will take the weekend off and then I will be starting suzanne's plan also.

Quick question though....how do you know if your state requires you to wait 45 days or 90 days...I am from colorado and I looked at our BON and I could not find anything! Does anyone know?

i called my boards. gave my info via phone. paid their fee. then paid fee to pearson vue. 48 hrs later i received my ATT via e-mail. from that point i was able to pick a test date. of course i wasn't able to choose a date prior 45 d. period.

Also, I found out how long the waiting period was through my BON. It was kind of difficult to find actually. I am from NH, so I went to google.com and typed in NH retake NCLEX Hope this helps!
