Failed the NClex in 265

Published

So I took the nclex yesterday. I got 265 questions which seemed easy and I didn't pass.

I've been doing Kaplan not scoring great. Also doing questions from Lippincott alternative format and prioritization book questions.

Please help, any feedback or pointers would be appreciated.

I was told since the questions weren't hard I wasn't doing too the whole time. Is that true?

Welcome to AN!

You should receive a candidate performance report in the mail. This can help you determine your areas of weakness- was it just certain areas or all of them? That information can help guide you to how you should proceed (focus on the weak areas vs. overall review).

This site explains the CPR and also provides links to a sample. (If the link doesn't work, go to ncsbn.org and search for CPR- for some reason I kept getting error messages)

Thank you. Just been really stressed and let down throughout this whole process.

I failed at 265 the 1st time and passed at 265 the second. It helped me to write down a lot of the rationales and review them, whether I got the answer right or not. I think that since it went 265, you were teeter-tottering the passing line. If you really weren't doing good the whole time it would have shut off earlier.

Kepp working hard!

Thank you for your help. Any other input on resources. Debating just using Saunders and nclex 4000.
