Welcome

I am going to move this to the NCLEX forum where you will find much in the way of hints, tips and support. When you start to prepare yourself to restudy would suggest you start again as if you haven't tested and even consider Suzanne's plan, just check out the stickies as all info is there

I failed my first try with 75 questions but passed last week with 75 questions on my second attempt. I'm sorry you failed. I know it is an awful experience. Hang in there and push ahead and get ready for the next time and you will be successful! :redbeathe

Hi sprklplntyRN,

Congradulations!!!!!!!! I know it is really awful experience But I have to start studying hard again. For your second attempt how long did you study? and which study materials did you use? And any tips on how to tackle pharmacology part because that is the hardest part for me to study.

:wlcmhnds:A good way to study the pharmacology is to look at the endings like - lol is a beta blocker then list 5-6 meds in that class like -propranolol, then list 2 major side effects/adverse effects, then list what it is used for. Do this with all the med classes. Just know 5-6 meds in each class and their side effects, what you would teach a pt about the med, etc. Lots of pharmacology tips on the Random Facts Sticky too. Keep a positive attitude and keep studying. Good luck.
