Why are you failing? When it's been that long, it might be worth it to do a content review, and to really consider a course and going over your textbooks. You'll really need to know how to prioritize if you want to pass.
When you take the exam, do the topics feel familiar? Are you familiar with the diseases and the answers? Over what of the answers are the priorities?

The issue may not necessarily the source of the review, but how one approaches the NCLEX itself: understanding the four concepts of becoming a competent, entry-level nurse:
1. Safe, effective care;
2.Health promotion;
3.Physiological Integrity;
4.Psychosocial integrity
Will determine WHAT the question is asking you.
What have your performance reports provided? Are you ESL? do you have any disorders or disabilities that are affecting your test taking? How long and HOW are you studying?
Take a step back, BREATHE, and figure out what steps and resources you need to succeed in passing this exam.

Pretty content tough, just clamming up with anxiety, not listening to my gut, changing answers, looking at the right answer in front of me, then going don the list only to punk myself out of the question and answer.....pretty familiar with patho, disease process, there are always some small content issues I don't kno or remember but not a lot.....my nerves I believe are hurting me..
1st time 265 fail
2nd time 255 fail
3rd time 254 fail
got actually better on the second from the first, haven't gotten the 3rd report yet..... I finish top of my nursing school class in 2010.....definitely something I am missing.....

I would really look at taking a class like Kaplan, where it's focused on the strategies, because it sounds like this is an area that's a struggle for you. I think that was what helped me the most. You'll never know ALL of the content that could possibly be covered, but understanding HOW to prioritize and how you delegate and the basic strategies are really the most important part, I think.
thank u runbabyrn, I have enrolled, start next week
