Nursing Students NCLEX

I took the NCLEX for the 4th time on saturday 8/30 and got my fail grade today. I was positive this time around and felt so much better prepared than the previous times, but I guess I wasn't. I'm so down and bummed out right now. I paid for a review, did tons of questions, read rationals and still. Ughhh. I will try again tho!!!!!

So sorry to hear that it didn't work out this time :(

Don't lose hope, stay strong and keep the faith.

After you have checked out your cpr, I would recommend (if it's within your budget) checking out this tutor :

RN Bootcamp

She's awesome with helping students with both content and strategies.

Which review did you use? I have heard good things about Kaplan and Hurst.

Kaplan in my opinion has the hardest questions, close to what you see on NCLEX.

My friends who passed with Hurst recommended it for content.

Stay strong !

I did the Feurer Nursing review plus the NCLEX RN Mastery and plus I studied from various books I had. I had ALOT of SATA which I know did me in.

Thank you for the info on the tutor, I've been in contact with them and getting ready for next bout with the exam. :yes:

What does your performance review say the previous times you taken the exam?

What sources (besides tutoring) did you use to target your weaknesses?

Remember, the NCLEX is based on four concepts; to start to understand the four concepts of becoming a competent, entry-level nurse:

1. Safe, effective care;

2.Health promotion;

3.Physiological Integrity;

4.Psychosocial integrity

Will determine WHAT the question is asking you; the question may be Respiratory related-but is it a Health Promotion or a Safety, or a Physiological or a Psychosocial one? Would you know the difference and choose the BEST answer?

Once one understands the concepts of NCLEX, they can answer the questions successfully.
