Trust me. You will Pass. :)

I didn't memorize any names of medication or side effects and guess what?? I passed. I passed the second time with 75. Walked out of the testing center in shock and disbelief thinking I failed. Two days later...I passed!

The big thing with medications is an educated guess....elimination will lead you to passing boards. Eliminate each answer that sounds weird to you and then make an educated guess. :)

Good Lucks.

You can't memorize this stuff you have to learn it, understand it. I always asked myself questions such as why does this drug cause increased bp or why it cause dizziness, difficulty breathing. I try to understand what's going on in the body when they take a certain drug. Get the review book Saunder's and listen to some nursing review audio everyday. You will pass it, just don't give up. Pray and fast!

Do some reading in the NCLEX forum. You will find lots of advice there. Most people recommend doing as many questions as possible and studying the rationales to those questions. Good luck.
