i also have plans to work in ontario. i asked someone here regarding this matter. here's her reply.

first you must apply for initial registration. for ontario visit www.cno.org

alberta www.nurses.ab.ca

that is their official website and you will be able to know how to go about with the registration.

with less than 1 year of experience i dont know if it will be easier for you to find an employer. unlike us, experience matters to canadian employers.

after the initial registration and finding youself an employer, the regulatory body will issue you a temporary permit. which allows you to work as a nurse without taking the crne yet. but the permit is only max of 9 mos. thats why crne must be taken before it expires.

in looking for an employer, just google "health authorities of ontario/alberta"

each health authority have job postings on their website. just keep on applying and u might get lucky.

remember- it is not the responsibility of the regulatory body to look an employer for you. i dont know why some think it that way. its prc sa atin.

much luck!
