I began my undergrad career as a pre-nursing major but decided to switch in year 3 to business. I'm now going back for my RN and due to my age, decided to go for an ADN which will get me back into the workforce (income) more quickly and minimize my losses, than refreshing all my pre-req's for an accelerated program. I plan on immediately beginning my RN to BSN upon graduation.
I had to refresh my A&P for my program but that was all. Will I need to refresh my Chemistry, Statistics, Math, and Psych courses from 2002-2004 before getting my RN to BSN? I hope not, but if so, I need to work those into my academic calendar.

Depends on the program I guess. I'm in an accelerated program right now after getting a BS in Biology back in 2004. My stats and psych classes didn't expire so I didn't need to repeat them. Hadn't taken A&P, nutrition, or bioethics before. I didn't need chemistry for this program but would have had to repeat it for my back up program. My plan was to take the CLEP exam for chem rather than take the class again.

Most schools have a 5 year period for science pre-reqs. However, do your research. I also found a program where I did not have to retake any courses. I was in a similar situation to you. I ended up going the opposite route -- a MEPN program. Mainly because I could start right away, didn't have to retake pre-reqs, and it was 16 months straight through to graduate.
Chemistry is one course I just really have zero desire to retake. Unfortunately, I don't think testing out would be a strong option for myself either. Granted, I'm older and a much better student now, but I have nightmares of that course, still.
I appreciate the feedback. It's Spring Break so all of the school offices are closed so I can't speak with someone. This also is the one week I actually have time to work on non-semester tasks.

Yeah I really didn't want to repeat chemistry either. Took 16 credits with my biology degree, full year of general and full year of organic chemistry. I made it about halfway through the khan academy general chem YouTube videos. They were a very good refresher, that plus using a chemistry CLEP review book should have been good enough for me to pass. It's just pass/fail so you don't have to do great, just pass. But yeah I was super excited to be accepted in to my first choice program and able to drop the chemistry review.
