i have that book and i glance at it from time to time..it has a lot of good tips....my friend used it and she passed nclex and swears by it..(but what worked for one my not work for the other)haven't taken nclex-rn yet..will let you know when i pass..

Well I read the book like crazy. And I did the CD until my eyes became sore. I think I studied out of that book more than any other. The book is good but the CD can be frustrating. Although they claim it is 3000 questions, I kept getting the same ones over and over.

I took my Nclex yesterday and I don't think I passed it. I can rattle off diseases and all kinds of content like crazy. But I wasn't prepared for the many many priority questions that I kept getting. I only got 1 math and 3 med questions. I will know the results tomorrow.

Back to the book, it is useful and I really like the cram sheet in the front of the book and took it everywhere with me. I just seems that I had a hard test that didn't have much exam cram content.

Just wondering if you passed?

it's good only for quick review. Like BRIEFING. But yes, it's very good for QUICK review def. Just to scan thru

I didn't really practice questions from that. Saunders was very helpful for me to practice questions coz of its rationales and strategies. Exam cram was like an icing. sauders cake.

Good luck guys

if u go to bookstoes, u'll also small nclex books that u can put in ur pocket nd carry everywhere and study.

Some publications have cards also I think.

Good luck again

have that book and it was the only book I used to review for the NCLEX.

I read the chapters (there are 20) and took the chapter review quizzes. I also did the practice test on the CD. I thought it was a good book, well priced and very informative without being OVERLOAD.
