everything happens for a reason :)

Everything happens for a reason...this is so true!

I was accepted into a LPN program and was supposed to start in June. With the school being 4 hours away there were a lot of things that needed to get done before moving. Long story short, the move by June is not even a possibility.

So after being sad for a while something amazing happened! I had the chance to apply to a RN program and everything is looking great so far. All I have left to do is take the TEAS exam by June. If I pass I will be able to start this ADN program in December, my dream has always been to be a RN, I was using the LPN as a stepping stone. So now that I have the chance to go straight into a 2 year ADN program I am smiling from ear to ear.

So remember this, everything happens for a reason. Never give up on your dreams!!

Happy Friday :)

Big congrats to you! Keep us posted.

I saw the title of your post and had to stop by. I am in a simular situation myself. I don't understand why I cannot go to LVN school (programs being eliminated or filled up), but I might have to take the CNA/HHA course , because I need a job. Maybe that is the plan... to become a CNA and then go for my RN.

I agree with you, everything happens for a reason... we might not understand what it is.
