ever have second thoughts...?

hey all.. will be starting my program end of august (can't wait.. umm, gasp), and i have so many things running thru my head, especially if i can actually do this, you know, make it thru. this will be my first program where if u don't pass one class (B or better), then you're out !! have any of you had second thoughts before your program started? and was it not that bad once you were delving in? and looking back, not so bad after all? please allay my idiocies !!

I went through the same thing you are going through. I think you're pretty dangerous if you think you are just going to breeze through CRNA school. Having doubts is the most normal thing i have ever heard of. Now that i am at the end of the didactic portion I look back and think that it was a lot of hard work, but definitely possible. Up until now I have all A's in the anesthesia program. I was only a 3.1 student for undergrad. Having to pass with a B or better motivates you to do as well as possible on every single exam. If you put your all into your program you will realize your true potential. Plus, the things you are learning you will really want to know and find interesting. You can do it. Just be positive
