Evening RN Program HCC

Hi All,

I am hoping to get some info on how the evening RN program at HCC is?? I currently work full-time and am in the process of taking pre-req. I am hoping to apply to the program either next year of thereafter. I would LOVE to do the day program but if finances prohibit I will land up doing the evening.

My question is: How hard and how time consuming is the evening program. I have 2 kids at home and understand its going to be tough, I just dont know "how tough"?? :) If someone has taken this program at night or just has general info please post.email me and let me know.

Thanks :0)

it stands for HOuston Community College. Its ADN program is located at The Medical Center in HOuston.

I am currently in Med-Surg I at HCC in the day program. I originally started in the evening program and worked full-time during the day. Believe me it is very tough, yet I maintained a high GPA. I decided to change to the day program after the 3rd semester. It is possible to work, but not recommeded. Good luck.
