  1. Thanks guys for all your replies :) Ok so the verdict is in then!! I was thinking I'd be OK without it, but reading that it's *Strongly recommended* kind of threw me off. Thanks again! Angie
  2. I see on the admissions packet that HCC *strongly recommends* taking Bio 1406 before A&PI. How many of you took this and how many didn't and did just fine? I haven't taken Bio in years and seeing this has me nervous that maybe I should take 1406 before A&PI?? I registered for the Fall Semester for A&PI. Thanks Angela
  3. Thanks for the info Stacey. I am definitely going to check out HCC and see if they are indeed accredited. I am planning on attending their info sessions anyways soon so will ask then. Angela :)
  4. hi thanks for your reply :) i bet it must be pretty tough doing the classes at night and working 40hrs per week! oh just wanted to post and let you know, i contacted the hcc nursing department and this is a direct qoute: "if you need information regarding whether we are accredited you can go to the website www.bne.state.tx.us and it will show that we are." i havent checked the website yet, but intend to later. good luck to you! angela :0)
  5. Hi All, I am hoping to get some info on how the evening RN program at HCC is?? I currently work full-time and am in the process of taking pre-req. I am hoping to apply to the program either next year of thereafter. I would LOVE to do the day program but if finances prohibit I will land up doing the evening. My question is: How hard and how time consuming is the evening program. I have 2 kids at home and understand its going to be tough, I just dont know "how tough"?? :) If someone has taken this program at night or just has general info please post.email me and let me know. Thanks :0) Angie
