ETEA Bridging Program

Hi everyone.. I have a problem.. Hope you can help me with this.. I started applying for ETEA last month, got interviewed via phone last week and now, I already have my letter of offer from them. I was given 7 days to pay for the tuition.. By the way, I am for January 2013 intake..The problem is, my letter of eligibility from AHPRA is due to expire on the 26th of October.. Is it possible to ask for an extension from AHPRA? It is stated in the letter that I need to complete an NMBA approved program within the period given to me.. And now, my offer from ETEA is for January 2013.. :( What should I do? Please help.. Will greatly appreciate.. Thanks RNs! :nurse:

hi annie that's good at least may fellow kababayan during bp...i asked for an extension but was declined. so i have to start all over again. im still waiting word from ahpra. im expecting to get my loe by next month. are you done with your immunisations?

Hi there! I've read in your post that your also for January Intake. Did AHPRA granted you for an extension of your LOE? Mine will expire on April and Im for January intake too. Just to make sure. TY! :)

Where did you lodge your application? Yes you can request for an extension. You just have to send a copy of your letter of offer as a proof that you already have a slot for the bp. My loe was extended from oct 2012 to may 2013.

However, I am quite nervous about their accreditation. I don't have visa yet but I am going to start the process. How come other schools had fixed their accreditation while ETEA is still valid only up to the end of this year? :( January is almost near:(

Etea does not issue confirmation of enrollment. Only letter of offer. You can use that when you apply for the visa.

Hi! May i know how long did you wait for your extension? My offer letter in LTU is for june 2013, but my loe expires july 2013. I already sent my ahpra case officer a copy of my offer letter 2 weeks ago, but no replies yet up to now. ;( although she said before that i can be considered for an extension. i'm very anxious that LTU slots will be filled in before i actually receive my extension. how soon did you receive yours? thanks
